This tour allowed us to explore the less accessible Ainokura village in Gokayama which is less touristy than the popular Shirakawa-go area. The duration allocated for both villages are appropriate. We are also very lucky to get a guide who is well versed in English.

The tour is appropriately paced and the guide we got was well versed in English and knowledgeable. Worth considering if you intend to explore Ainokura village too

The tour guide was very good, but the whole trip was like catching a train, always rushing, and each attraction was a quick visit, and there was no way to experience it properly. We are used to free travel and are extremely unaccustomed to this mode of travel. For the first time, time is limited and there is no time to check in carefully, and we don’t want to worry about taking the car. This is indeed a good choice. Gujo Hachiman and Shirakawa-go are both beautiful, and the alpine beef is delicious. In summary: a hurried journey of delicious food and beautiful scenery 😂

dedicated local guide who speaks both Chinese and English with clear instructions on do & don’ts , meetup point & time and going extra mile to help upon adhoc requests .. was provided maps on interest points to both Shirakawa and Takayama.

The tour guide explained carefully. It was a pity that it was raining on the day of departure. Gassho Village is very beautiful. You must eat water pudding. It is worth shopping in Takayama Old Street and the snacks are delicious. You have plenty of time. I will come again next time it snows. trip
