it was a great experience!! Highly recommended. The tour guide was very cheerful and fun. The boat does rock a bit, but it's not a problem if you're seated. I recommend the open-air seats on the second floor, but it's quite windy so I don't recommend wearing a hat. Your hair will get pretty messy! However, you can get a panoramic view of New York City and look up at the Brooklyn Bridge from below. As for the main Statue of Liberty, the boat went around it in half a circle and slowed down the boat so we could take plenty of photos. The guide on board was very friendly and cooperative with taking photos! Overall it was a great experience!!

I enjoyed the tour with a very kind guide. I had seen the Statue of Liberty three times from the sea, but it was my first time to land on Liberty Island and Ellis Island. I also learned about American history. I was able to interact with people from different countries, which became a very good memory.

It is the fastest way to visit the Statue of Liberty. There will be a tour guide on the boat that will introduce you to the Statue of Liberty and some of the high-rise buildings in New York. But the sun is a bit fierce, so remember to wear a hat. The best position on the boat should be on the upper level, on both sides. If you sit down, most of your views will be blocked by standing people.

The meeting point is easy to find, right in front of Starbucks. The tour guide will hold a flag for easy identification. After gathering, you will be taken to the boarding gate to go through the security check. After boarding the ship, it is recommended to sit on the right side because it is on the side close to the Statue of Liberty, and on the other side, there is a distant view of the city skyline to take pictures. After landing on Liberty Island, the tour guide will give a brief historical explanation, and then there will be free time for activities. You can go around to take pictures under the Statue of Liberty, browse the souvenir shop, or rest in the museum. The tour guide will then gather everyone to go to the next Ellis Island (Ellis Island), but please note that if you exceed the meeting time, the tour guide may take other people to the next island first and will not wait for you. At this time, you only need to watch the boarding. You can easily take a boat to the next island according to the route indicators at the entrance, so don’t worry. Ellis Island is an immigration museum. It is a very simple attraction. You can wander around at will. If you want to go back early, you can look at the sign returning to New York at the boarding gate and take a boat to go back on your own.

It was the best and most unforgettable experience in New York. There were 4 of us on board and they sat us all by the window so we could look out. We were all foreigners while we were waiting, but all the staff were very friendly! The color of the helicopter also looked the most luxurious. Haha, it was the best!

A good choice for a quick visit to the Statue of Liberty. Due to the tight time schedule, it is not possible to visit the island. All purchases are made online the day before and boarding the ship with the electronic voucher on the same day is really fast and convenient.

Standing at a total height of 305 feet 1 inch from ground level to the torch, the Statue of Liberty is a must-visit landmark. Visitors can explore the pedestal and, with special tickets, ascend to the crown for breathtaking views of New York Harbor. The statue's torch, although closed to the public since 1916, can be viewed via webcam.

Statue of Liberty Museum

Opened in 2019, the museum features interactive exhibits, historical artifacts, and the original torch of the Statue of Liberty. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the statue's creation, history, and cultural impact.

Cultural and Historical Significance

The Statue of Liberty is not just a monument but a symbol of freedom and democracy. It commemorates the centennial of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the abolition of slavery. The statue's design, featuring the Roman goddess Libertas, a torch, and a tabula ansata inscribed with the date of the Declaration of Independence, embodies the ideals of liberty and justice.

Design and Construction

The statue was designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and its metal framework was engineered by Gustave Eiffel. The copper statue was constructed in France, shipped to the U.S. in crates, and assembled on a pedestal on Liberty Island. The statue has undergone several restorations, the most significant being for its centennial in 1986.

Symbol of Welcome

Since its dedication, the Statue of Liberty has become an iconic symbol of welcome to immigrants arriving by sea. Emma Lazarus's sonnet 'The New Colossus,' inscribed on a plaque in the pedestal, famously describes the statue as the 'Mother of Exiles.'
