Things to do in Uluwatu Temple

The Edge Bali is really a place to visit even it was very far. The scenery was great, the hotel staff were kind, the food was delicous. This day pass is very affordable as you have a consumable amount to spend on food.

we had a great time visiting the temple and the huge statue. The show was also awesome. Its a great cultural experience. Thanks to Tawan for getting us safely tomoir destinations and taking great photos.

We made a booking which consists of two beaches, Uluwatu Temple and Kecak Fire Dance but our driver, TAWAN, made our trip extra memorable. He suggested to go to coffee tasting and we found a lot of good coffees as souvenirs. Shoutout to Tawan who made the experience special even though it’s raining, he still managed to take good photos and assisted us althroughout the trip. He even bought us raincoats. He’s very kind and accomodating even if we accidentally broke his umbrella because of the weather. PS. Nice car. Highly recommended!

Our driver Gahn was awesome - he had the best car & was a great driver. He even took some photos for us without us asking. the tour was great & Kecak dance was a once in a lifetime experience

highly recommend show to watch. location is wheelchair friendly mostly and it's an interesting entertainment for the family. characters are very interactive with audience.

Is it a Bird Man or a Man Bird? This was the only question we had throughout. A unique view at this purpose build tourism site to showcase a mythical creature/symbol of courage, hope and determination. The only issue with this place is, drop off and pick up by Grab car can be difficult. We arrived at a shuttle bus pick up area where our grab driver says unable to enter unless we pay 10,000 rupiah for carpark entry. We did not and waiting for the shuttle bus, which is just a 3mins drive to main entrance. Forgo the free drinks as too lazy and hot to walk. Watch a 20mins performance then starts to walk into the main building that can be super hot. Buggy must pay at 40,000rupiah per person. we decided to walk as it’s only less than 200m, but upslope. Arrived and wait for our time for tour, which must prebook this at information counter, at main entrance. We ended up waiting at level one, eating gelato. Then come our time to go up level 9 and then 23. Entire journey is around 45-60mins. Down we went and off we go. Getting a grab is super difficult. My advice is to prebook a vehicle to follow you, but at a cost as driver need to wait. Overall, a good experience to view the purpose behind this build and how long it took.
