Sarawak Cultural Village

Considering the excellent guide at the Cultural Village, including the transportation from Kuching city, I am very satisfied! Thanks to the guide's wealth of knowledge, I was able to have a very fulfilling tour. I would not have been so impressed if I had gone around on my own! Thank you very much.

There are many indigenous people of Malaysia in this cultural village, and you can learn about the customs and architecture of the local indigenous people. The driver also serves as a tour guide. It is a great itinerary and anyone who is interested in local culture can participate!

This tour was an incredible journey through Sarawak’s rich cultural heritage and stunning wildlife! Our first stop was the Sarawak Cultural Village, a must-visit living museum that showcases the diverse indigenous cultures of Borneo. Walking through traditional longhouses, interacting with friendly locals, and experiencing their way of life firsthand was truly fascinating. The highlight was the mesmerising cultural dance performance, complete with vibrant costumes and traditional music. It was an immersive and eye-opening experience that gave us a deep appreciation for Sarawak’s heritage. Next, we visited the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, where we had the rare opportunity to witness semi-wild orangutans in their natural rainforest habitat. Watching these majestic creatures swing through the trees was absolutely breathtaking! The knowledgeable rangers shared valuable insights about conservation efforts, making the visit both educational and inspiring. The entire tour was well-organised, with seamless transportation and a guide who was friendly, informative, and passionate about Sarawak’s culture and wildlife. This tour is an absolute must for anyone visiting Sarawak! It offers the perfect balance of cultural discovery and wildlife adventure. Highly recommended!

Hi klook! We have had a great experience with the tour. The Sarawak Cultural Village is such a fascinating place to learn and experience all about Sarawak’s culture. Best of all, our tour guide, Mas Daud, is such a wonderful person. He is very friendly, humble and highly knowledgeable on mostly everything on Sarawak. During the tour, he guided us through all the Sarawak houses and able to explain in detail its history and culture. A truly entertaining and worthy guide. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Great location to be away from the city, nearby Sarawak Cultural Village - which is a must go place! Staff are kind and very welcoming. The furnitures are little bit on the old side, but I have no complains. Rooms are kept clean but few spots beach area are not too well maintained. Breakfast has considerably good selections of menus though I was there during low season.
