Things to do in Patchwork Road (Biei)

I was traveling alone in Sapporo and didn't rent a car, so I was about to give up on Biei, but then I signed up for a tour! The route was good, the guide was kind, and he told me a lot of things, and he even took pictures for me (though I didn't take any), so I think it would be good for solo travelers! Some people might think that the schedule is a bit tight, but in fact, when you actually go to this area, there aren't many activities other than taking pictures and looking around, so I think it's actually good :)

I am very, very lucky to have met Chen Sang, who was still fighting on the front line two years ago. The whole trip was great and we were very lucky. It was cloudy and rainy on the way, but the sun came out when we arrived at the scenic spot. Finally, we returned to Sapporo under the beautiful sunset. Compared to my last trip to Hokkaido in late December, this time in early May there was no excitement of snowmobiling in Furano, but the Meiei and Shirahige Falls were still there, especially the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Asahiyama Zoo has a very interesting design. The children visited the penguin house twice. Perfect

Highly recommend this tour if you would like to visit asahikawa area. Tour guide Tenzo & driver were very professional, we managed to finish the attractions on time and returned. The time allocated were all ok also.

I made a reservation in a hurry, but I was so glad it was confirmed! The guide's voice was soft, so it was easy to listen to the explanation, and I wasn't bored at all while moving. It was really helpful to include the tour at the beginning of the trip because it gave me useful information about Japanese culture, things to watch out for, recommended restaurants, and places, which was a great help for my later schedule~~ It was a little cold because it rained, and the natural scenery was a bit disappointing because it was the off-season, but Junpei was delicious, and overall it was a satisfying tour~~~

Thank you for your sincere guide in the photo!! It was a really fun and happy day. I hope you stay healthy and see you on the next tour. It takes about 2 and a half hours by bus from Sapporo, but I highly recommend you go.
