Things to do in Penglipuran Village

we stayed at kintamani & the driver picked us up at our hotel for free. the ride was pretty scary for some parts, esp when the driver tried several times just to get up a steep slope. they provided simple breakfast. unfortunately it was foggy that day so we didn’t manage to see the sunrise. whether you will get nice photos of you on the jeep will be based on your luck cuz most of the time the photos will be taken by the driver 😅we chose to go to black lava after that and just know that there will be lots of flies waiting for you 😂so bring a fan or put on face mask cuz the flies will swarm all over the place & your face. one thing that I think the company need to provide is seatbelts for the passengers.

had a great time cycling downhill. there were 2 guides with us. though I recommend not to buy from the coffee plantation, prices for the tea and coffee are alot more expensive then central market in Ubud, regretted buying. the cycling was fun and great scenery at the padi fields.

aldy was a very kind driver. he was expert at navigating through the traffic and checked in on us!!!

we had lots of fun, it was a really enjoyable trip & really a highlight of our lives :) our drivers were really friendly and funny, and they made sure sure we got the best shots taken

I did the solo traveller round transfer for Mt Batur Sunrise and it was absolutely amazing! Super easy with booking and the communication throughout the journey was top notch. Thank you Putu my driver for confirming my pick up time and location prior to the day and running through the day with me. Thank you as well to Putu Mana my 4WD Jeep driver for taking me up to the top and letting me sit and enjoy the sunrise. 🙏🏼☺️Was truly a very peaceful and calming way to start my morning! Appreciate the warm hospitality, highly recommended!! ☺️

Aldy drives really well! I'm amazed! The car is also very pretty! The car is pink, which is just a test drive, but it was a new experience and it was great! The pickup was at 2:45 AM, but he came and waited before 2:30 AM! Our accommodation was in the Kuta area. There were 3 of us in a group, and they were all very kind and listened to what we asked. They even took a lot of pictures for us ㅋㅋㅋ I was touched that they even gave us insurance to take more pictures just in case! Aldy's house is near the mountain, and he let us use the bathroom before going up the mountain, which made me feel at ease. We also spent a long time in the rice fields, and he waited for us and took us home, which was nice! Thanks to him, I was able to sleep well in the car for about 4-5 hours going back and forth, so I was able to enjoy my afternoon schedule as well!

This Mount Batur sunrise experience was incredible! From the very beginning, everything ran smoothly. Our transfer driver, Tana, picked us up right on time in the pre-dawn hours. He was friendly and had a comfortable car, making the early morning ride a breeze. Plus, he was incredibly flexible and helped us plan some additional stops for later in the day. Once we reached the meeting point, the adventure really began. Our jeep driver, Lanang, was a true pro. His expert driving skills made the sometimes-bumpy path up the mountain feel like a thrilling off-road adventure. He even managed to keep things fun despite a bit of drizzle we encountered. We felt like we were part of a secret jeep enthusiast club meetup. Lanang's upbeat music selection kept our spirits high too, and his photo-taking skills were a bonus. He knew exactly where to capture the best shots of us with the breathtaking volcanic landscape! The fresh mountain air was invigorating. This tour met our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and exciting way to experience Mount Batur. Thanks to Tana and Lanang for making it such a memorable adventure!

The driver was also kind and picked us up on time in front of the villa. And although the jeep was bumpy, it was fun. It was nice to be able to see the beautiful scenery of Mount Batu Rut. He took a lot of pictures for us and suggested poses for us. We made some great memories. 😗
