Things to do in Mount Aso

The tour guide recommended a lot of local food and suggestions in Fukuoka. The itinerary was a bit tight, but it was very convenient to join the tour group. We were lucky enough to see the volcano.

The tour guide Aiko was very responsible and spoke Chinese and English very well. We were lucky enough to see the volcano. We didn't book a boat ticket for Takachiho, but we could walk along the trail there.

Great day out seeing the sights, many thanks to our guide, Roger, who gave us excellent information about the sights as we were nearing them in the bus. we had about 30min at the crater - it was very cold up there! And also a good amount of time at the other stop offs as well. 5/5, great day out, kids 9 and 11 also thoroughly enjoyed.

Had a great time visiting Kumamoto Castle and Aso Volcano. Our guide Ada was wonderful. Shared information about the places we are visiting while on our way there. When we were returning she even recommended places to go and food to eat in Fukuoka.

Fortunately, during a break in the heavy rain, we climbed up Mount Aso and saw the emerald green lake and the white smoke rising from the crater. The wind was strong at the top of the mountain and the temperature was relatively low. The enthusiastic tour guide Wu Xia provided thoughtful service and it was a wonderful trip.
