Things to do in Doi Suthep

The tour guide Yoyo explained very seriously, and explained in detail everything from the history of the dynasty to the reasons for the two temples! But the attitude of the customer service staff on the phone was terrible and they were indifferent. The pick-up time was written there, asking whether you wanted to wait or not. We have no idea what the basic information is like, such as what the car looks like, the license plate number, or who the tour guide is, and no one is forcing you to do this job. If you don't want to do it, don't do it!

The service was in Chinese throughout the trip, communication was smooth, and the pick-up at the hotel was also very easy. The car was just a little old, but there were only 5 people in the whole group, so it was still comfortable to sit in!

Pick up and drop off at hotel on time. Our team consists of four people. The trip went smoothly. The tour guide prepared supplies for the monks and filmed the process for us. He also has a wealth of knowledge about nature and will introduce different plants and animals along the way.

Very enjoyable. Our guide was knowledgeable about the temples that we went to. She was on time to pick us up.

This was by far one of the greatest experiences of my life!!! My wife and I thought the sanctuary was very ethical. We didn’t ride the elephants or touch them. We did, however, get to feed them and walk with them through the jungle. I highly recommend bringing shoes that you don’t care about because you will be walking up and down steep hills. We also got a chance to go to a lake where the elephants grazed while we were able to hang out in the water. They fed us, let us make our own inhalers and took a wonderful water raft. I highly suggest bringing your phone while on the raft. There are other elephant sanctuaries in the area, and there is a large possibility that one of the elephants from their sanctuary may be going to hang out in the water at the same time as your water raft.

My tour guide Leelee had a charming smile and enthusiastically explained along the way, sharing the history of many Chiang Mai temples. It was a bit tiring to gather at 5:00 in the morning, but it was worth it to visit three beautiful temples and watch the sunrise in just half a day.

Mew Mew was an excellent guide! She explained well and even answered our various questions about Thai history. We also appreciated how she gave her recommendations and honest opinions about the places we were going or the things that we were going to try. We also commend our lady driver who swiftly and smoothly navigated through the zig zag roads. We also love the van! Definitely recommend
