Things to do in Gili Islands

This is the most memorable day of my trip to Gili with my son. I was afraid because I can't swim, but with Azis's help, I had a perfect time. He took pictures of me as if I was good at swimming. Azis is a guide I would recommend to everyone.

I strongly recommand this tour. it was wonderful with many turtles, fishes and statues. Aziz is a super helper that makes your dream of snorkeling come true with nice video and photos. If you meet Aziz as tour helper, it means great fortune for your snorkeling.

I finally got to see three turtles! It was an experience that reminded me that the Lombok islands still have many attractive beaches. However, there are many tourists on each island, and it is already becoming mainstream to have the great outdoors all to yourself, but compared to Bali, you can still enjoy beautiful seas.

This was absolutely amazing. I’ve never done anything like this so it was very eye opening to see marine life like this. Our guide Azis and driver Han were so lovely. They both made us feel very safe and Azis went above and beyond to make it a good experience for us. It was just me and my husband on a private tour and he really adapted to our different experience levels which was nice as I was a total beginner. He took really great photos for us and downloaded them to my phone. 10/10 recommend you must try!

Azis guided us very kindly throughout the program. The program was a stone statue point - Meno turtle point - air fish point, and we additionally requested to visit the turtle sanctuary for a short time and stopped by. The time indicated in the app program was from 9:30 to 3:00 PM, but due to the tide and sea temperature, we had to go early in the morning to see the turtles, so we met at 7:00, and it seemed that all the programs were finished around 10:30. It seemed that if you wanted to spend more time here and there, you could ask for it, but we gave up because it was too hard. They provide flippers and life jackets, and I don't know if they provide goggles, but we originally had our own, so we used those. An additional note is that at the air point, jellyfish or zooplankton kept getting in the way, so it felt hot the whole time. There were a lot of fish and not many people, so it was good for taking videos, but those who don't like hot weather won't be able to stay for long.

This snorkeling tour was breathtaking! Our tour guide, Azis, had a GoPro and got the absolutely most amazing shots of my boyfriend and I! He knew the BEST angles to get the perfect photos :). Aziz and his captain were the most friendly and full of smiles, and we couldn't be happier with the trip! also to note, my boyfriend had a little too many bintangs the night before we were supposed to have our trip and ended up too sick to get on a boat the original day we had planned... Azis and his team rescheduled us to the next day and were so friendly about it. Thank you Azis for being so understanding, we had an amazing time thanks to you!! There are hundreds of options for snorkeling, but I suggest you book with Azis and his team ASAP ❤️🙏❤️❤️

For those who have experienced in Snorkling, look no further and just choose this. Cheapest & valued for money! 3 snorkling spot + viewing of baby sea tutle (I saw 1 hour old turle). 3 Snorkling point (Statue -> Sea turle -> Coral reef). However, for those newbies or never tried before (like me) the experience is fun yet scary. Even with that said, don’t worry as all the crew are well traned and are extremely villigent to ensure everyone is safe during the activies! The have life buoy & jacket available!

You can go snorkeling in Gili Island 3 in half a day. If you are short on time, I highly recommend it. The passionate guide was great and took lots of pictures. The turtles were cute and there were a lot of fish. The turtles ate grass-like things, so there was nothing to see in the habitat itself except for the turtles. The coral at Menorang Air Coral Beach was pretty and there were a lot of fish. If you get motion sickness, be sure to take motion sickness medicine. The last place we went to was Gili Air Island. The taco place nearby was delicious. The cat was cute.
