Things to do in Kurokawa Onsen

Great day out seeing the sights, many thanks to our guide, Roger, who gave us excellent information about the sights as we were nearing them in the bus. we had about 30min at the crater - it was very cold up there! And also a good amount of time at the other stop offs as well. 5/5, great day out, kids 9 and 11 also thoroughly enjoyed.

Had a great time visiting Kumamoto Castle and Aso Volcano. Our guide Ada was wonderful. Shared information about the places we are visiting while on our way there. When we were returning she even recommended places to go and food to eat in Fukuoka.

Was very lucky to be able to see the crater up close even for only 10 mins. Our tour guide, Lina was very lively, helpful and informative. I highly recommend this tour.

Emy was perfect in an unique way, she was very frustrated with her mic in the bus though which was very funny. Explanation was ok even though she might need to work a bit with her english pronunciation. Also very strict with time, so don’t be late otherwise you will be asked to sing in the bus for the whole tour participants. In terms of destination, i think it was a very good combination, start with Kumamoto Castle (which we had very low expectations but ended up really amazed us) then continued with going to Mount Aso caldera, it was ok because the caldera was pretty big and we managed to see the bottom of the lake which Emy told us was pretty rare). We ended up the trip at the Kusasenrigahama which is a large grassland with a lake, view was spectacular ! Very recommended for you guys if you are looking for a day trip from Fukuoka.

I participated in this one-day tour. The tour guide Zhou was very helpful. He could switch between Chinese, English and Japanese without any pressure. He was also very considerate during the trip and explained a lot to us. The whole trip was very relaxing. I would also recommend this trip to other friends who are coming to Fukuoka!

The trip was worth it to see the crater, and the kindness of our guide Heather made the whole trip even better. I wish I could meet such a good guide every time in the future!

it was great! helen was super helpful and can communicate well. check carefully where the pickup point is. i made a mistake cause i copy pasted the address sent via email, turns out I was at the wrong lawson. Good thing Helen (our guide) called and waited for me. i was the last person to get in 😭

The one-day tour exceeded expectations. I was lucky to see the Aso crater. The itinerary was arranged perfectly. Our tour guide was Miss Shi Nan, who was super patient and capable. She could switch between English, Japanese and Chinese at will. She was enthusiastic and beautiful. Recommended.
