If you travel from Tokyo to Nikko, choose Tobu Railway. It is very convenient to buy limited express tickets. Although you cannot reserve seats, you can easily board by showing the electronic ticket when using the tourist pass.

we found it was much cheaper to use Klook instead of the kiosk at the train station. the process was easy to do and use. however, there are two costs with the train and Klook didn’t say it was either one or the other. luckily it was both costs.
