An error occurred while I was installing the eSIM. What should I do?
The solutions depend on what the error message says.
- "Cellular Plans from This Carrier Cannot be Added":
- Your device might be locked to a specific carrier. Please double-check from Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock. It should say "No SIM restrictions"**. If that's not the case, contact your original carrier to unlock the restrictions of your device.
- "Unable to Complete Cellular Plan Change":
- It might be because too many eSIMs are installed on the device. Please double-check if your device has reached the maximum eSIM capacity and remove unnecessary eSIMs.
- Double-check if you turned on the cellular data of your device.
- Please make sure that the eSIM has not been already installed on another device.
- Please make sure you have a stable connection while you're installing the eSIM.
- "This code is no longer valid":
- Please make sure that the eSIM has not been already installed on another device.
- Install the eSIM when you have a stable connection.
- Try a different activation method. (There are two methods: In-app activation and QR code activation.)
