How much baggage can I store on the luggage rack or at my feet in Shinkansen?
On Shinkansen trains, you can put luggage with total measurements of up to 160 cm (or about 30 cm x 50 cm x 80 cm) on the overhead rack. If your bag is smaller, with total measurements around 120 cm (like 25 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm), you might be able to keep it at your feet, but it depends on how much space there is. If you're sitting in the Green Car, be aware that there are footrests.
