Minion Land Now Open at Universal Studios Singapore: Sneak Peek & What to Expect!

Bello Despicable Me fans - have you heard? The brand-new Minion Land in Universal Studios Singapore is now open to the public!

Dedicated to all things Despicable Me and Minions, Minion Land will transport guests into a colourful world of fun and whimsy - that's of course, filled with the adorable and mischievous Minions. Guests can also expect multiple rides, including Despicable Me Minion Mayhem (animated simulator ride attraction) plus an all-new carousel called Buggie Boogie, a ride that's exclusive to Universal Studios Singapore.

Minion Land is a brand-new zone that just opened in Universal Studios Singapore that opened on 14 February 2025. At Minion Land, you'll get to enter the world of your favourite Despicable Me and Minions movies, meet the Minions themselves, enjoy themed attractions, and more!

Minion Land is now open in Universal Studios Singapore. All you need to do is get entry tickets to Universal Studios Singapore, and you'll get to enter Minion Land too. No extra admission tickets are required to enter Minion Land.

There will be three distinct areas to explore: Minion Marketplace, Gru's Neighbourhood, and Super Silly Fun Land. 

For those who want a sweet shot for the 'gram, Minion Marketplace checks all the boxes for the perfect photo. Pose for a picture infront of the vibrant candy-coloured storefronts, and don't forget to snap a shot infront of the iconic Sweet Surrender, which features cheeky Minions hanging out on a giant jawbreaker vending machine!

Minion Marketplace is also where you can get your hands on all your favourite Minions merch and themed sweet treats. Head to Sweet Surrender to indulge in a diverse selection of Minion-themed apparel, plush toys, homeware, confections, and other fun souvenirs.

If you're looking for trendy fashion 'fits, Pop Store offers apparel with a Minion twist, or if you want accessories and toys galore - Fun Store is your best bet!

Say hello to Gru, his wife Lucy, and the girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, at Gru's Neighbourhood!

Here's also where you can find the wildly popular Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction, an immersive motion simulator ride that brings guests on an unpredictable ride through Gru’s super villain laboratory as they are transformed into Minions for his latest scheme. Joined by Gru, the girls, and the mischievous Minions, guests can look forward to heartwarming and humorous family fun for all. 

Super Silly Fun Land, the seaside carnival from Despicable Me, is where you can have a whale of a time with classic carnival games and yummy-themed food.

Super Silly Fun Land is also home to Buggie Boogie, a ride exclusive to Universal Studios Singapore! Buggie Boogie is the first-ever Minion dance party-themed carousel where guests can hop aboard a fleet of space bugs and silly creatures and boogie to popular songs that have been remixed by the Minions, helmed by DJ Carl.

Hop into your very own bug cabin and hang on tight! You'll spin and soar through the sky while catching views of Super Silly Fun Land! 

At this game booth modelled after the "Super Silly Space Killer" arcade game in Despicable Me, guests can try and beat the odds to win prizes like a huggable Minion plushie!

The game is flippin' bananas – to earn a reward from the Minions. All you need to do is flip a banana into the coconut pot to win!

Rumblin tummies? No worries! Seek refuge at Super Hungry Food Stand - this all-new restaurant unique to Universal Studios Singapore is the larger-than-film version of the waterfront snack stand from Despicable Me. 

Tuck into tasty (and oh-so-adorable!) offerings such as Japanese chicken karaage curry rice, vegan burger featuring a crunchy mushroom patty with guacamole, and rainbow cheesecake inspired by Fluffy.

If you're hankering for a sweet treat instead, there is also an ice cream stand just beside the restaurant, where you can grab an iconic swirly slushie or ice cream cone (choose from Raspberry or Vanilla) to beat the heat!

If you're feeling peckish and would rather have something to snack on - make a beeline for Pop-A-Nana, Minion Land's popcorn stand that touts fresh popcorn in two flavours - Salted and Banana! Yum 🍌

No visit to Minion Land is complete without snagging yourself an exclusive souvenir - so go ahead and shop till you drop at Minion Marketplace!

P/S: To mark the opening of Minion Land on 14 February 2025, there will be two limited edition, Universal Studios Singapore-exclusive Super Silly Space Killer figures launching: a premium vinyl collectible in iridescent finish and a full-coloured vinyl figure.

What's more: Keep your eyes peeled for a full Super Silly Fun Land Collection drop on the same day, boasting 15 items spanning themed apparel, homeware, and souvenirs. Highlights include a whimsical 3D mug, playful 3D blue bucket hat, and fun puzzle keychain!

If you're visiting in March - get your hands on the special Minion Sakura Collection, which will include apparel, accessories, and stationery with designs showcasing the Minions enjoying the cherry blossom season - too cute, we say!
