    Getting to Coachella

Now that we’ve (hopefully) answered the question, ‘What is Coachella?’ and given more information on tickets, dates, and lineup, it’s time to arrange your transportation. There are so many ways for you to get to and from the festival — car rental, shuttle, public transport, and more.

    1. Car Rental

If you prefer to travel on your own time and at your own pace, renting a car is your best bet! The pick-up and drop-off point will be at the airport, such as Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and from there, you can drive directly to Coachella.
Luckily, Coachella’s official website has prepared driving instructions just for you! Additionally, you can also check out the Google Maps link to the venue.

    2. Shuttles

The festival offers shuttles for concertgoers, including Coachella Shuttle Passes for both weekends. There are several shuttle stops where you can hop on, like Hampton Inn & Suites Indio, JW Marriott Desert Springs, and Palm Springs Convention Center.
They offer LAX Shuttle Passes for both weekends. This service will pick you up and drop you off at the airport — how convenient is that!

    3. Public Transportation

    Train
Another transportation option to consider are trains and buses, particularly the Greyhound Bus, Sunline Transit Agency, and Amtrak. You can hop on the Greyhound Bus at the Indio Station. For Sunline Transit Agency, there are several routes and schedules available on their official website, where you can also book your ticket or pass. Lastly, Amtrak offers rail service with transfers to and from Indio Station.

    Travel essentials for your trip

Apart from your Coachella tickets and transportation, here are a few more essentials that you have to get for your trip:

    1. eSIM

We highly recommend getting an eSIM for your trip. It’s the best way to stay connected throughout your stay in the US. Simply select your preferred validity — from five to 30 days, depending on the length of your trip. Next, choose your data package — from 7 to 50 GB. And the best part about eSIMs is that you don’t have to pick up a physical SIM from the airport; you just wait for the email with the QR code and scan it once you arrive in the US.

    2. Los Angeles Pass

Experience the best of Los Angeles with the Los Angeles Pass! Choose from two to five attractions, all in one pass. With this pass, you can visit famous attractions like Six Flags Magic Mountain, the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Battleship USS IOWA Museum, Madame Tussauds Hollywood, and many more.
To level up your experience, they also offer add-ons, including Universal Studios Hollywood or Disneyland California.

    3. Hotels

Booking your hotel is very important. Good thing the venue of Coachella is close to many hotels that offer convenience and comfortability. Here are some options for you:
